About the opportunity:

The TL role is to take responsibility for quality in complex areas and be a role model for junior QA’s. The responsibilities include estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities, working very closely with the Product Managers, Developers and being in touch with global customers, and understanding their needs. The Senior QA TL should have a deep understanding of the company products and in the end will be the focal point to several products.

What your responsibilities will be:

• Lead the development of comprehensive test plans based on solution specifications and end-user workflows.
• Create detailed test cases covering various scenarios and functionalities, maintaining test-related documentation.
• Execute test cases manually and through automated testing tools. Identify, document, and prioritize defects, ensuring effective communication with development teams for resolution.
• Assess software scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new releases do not impact existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and contribute to process improvements.
• Evaluate and communicate potential risks associated with software changes.
• Develop and implement quality standards in collaboration with global teams across development and production departments.

You would be the perfect candidate if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 5-7 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on networking, IP cameras, web testing, and backend/server testing in complex systems.
• Some experience with leading teams/projects.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, IP camera technologies, and web application architecture.
• Extensive experience with API testing and related tools (Postman, Rest-API).
• Proficiency in DB and server configurations (SQL and non-SQL).
• Bonus: Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, C#) is a plus.
• Previous experience working with international organizations and Agile methodology.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems Information Systems Security) or relevant experience. 
• Offensive penetration testing experience as well as an ability to suggest countermeasures and defensive strategies
• Developing new and maintaining existing methodologies and service processes part of the cyber assessment services portfolio
• A passion for poking security holes in complex systems, enjoy looking for 0-days, coming up with new and innovative attacks
• Background and knowledge of general security concepts, such as defense-in-depth, MITRE ATT&CK framework and security architectures
• Familiarity with developing proof-of-concept exploit examples to use within reports or live demonstrations
• Excellent knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and frameworks including
• Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM), Open Web
• Application Security Project (OWASP), PCI DSS Penetration Testing Guidance,
• National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication SP800-115
• Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise and understandable manner
• Ability to manage and balance own time among multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred certifications: OSCP, OSWP, CPTS, CRTP, eCPPT
• Excellent English skills (written and verbal)

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the team of penetration testers and conduct regular penetration tests, source code reviews and vulnerability assessments with a focus on quality
• Document vulnerabilities, write complete reports following a specific structure
• Improve the services under his/her responsibilities by means of innovation and in accordance with the business need
• Participate in meetings with customers when technical expertise is required
• Work and collaborate with our vendors and partners
• Support the growth and improvement of our cyber assessment services

Bonus skills

The following are not required but will be considered a plus: Knowledge and experience in development and scripting (Javascript, Python, Bash, PHP, C#, Java, Golang and others)
